SMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. Universal Insurance Holdings and its affiliates (Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company, American Platinum Property and Casualty Insurance Company, Evolution Risk Advisors, Inc., Atlas Premium Finance Company, Alder Adjusting Corporation, Wicklow Inspection Corporation, Clovered, Inc., Blue Atlantic Reinsurance Corporation, Assurance Systems, Inc., and Coastal Homeowners Insurance Specialists, Inc.) (the “Company”) offers subscription Short Messaging Service (“SMS”) text message programs. You may enroll in a text message alert program. This is an optional program. You are not required to enroll in this program to purchase or maintain a policy with the Company, and you may choose to unsubscribe at any time. You will have an opportunity to confirm or decline the service via a reply to an initial text message you receive. By replying START to the message received from 87457 you are confirming a subscription to this text message program. Message frequency varies.
The Company is committed to building user trust and confidence by promoting and complying with the use of business practices that help protect the privacy of the customer and their data. For more information you can view a copy of our privacy policy online.
The Company does not have a separate charge for this service; however, message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. By providing your consent to participate in this program, you approve any such charges from your mobile carrier. Charges for text messages may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance. The Company reserves the right to terminate this SMS service, in whole or in part, at any time without notice. The information in any message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays. You are responsible for managing the types of SMS texts you receive. If you have any questions or need help, text HELP to 87457, or call (800) 425-9113. Please note this is an automated one-way communication service. Replies to 87457 are machine-monitored only for keyword responses. No other responses will be received by you or acted upon by the Company.
To stop receiving text messages at any time text STOP to 87457. You consent that following such a request to unsubscribe, you will receive one (1) final message from the Company confirming that you have been inactivated in our system. Following such confirmation message, no additional text messages will be sent unless you re-activate your subscription. Or simply change your settings by logging into your account and navigating to “my settings,” select your phone number and then select opt out. To re-activate your subscription text START to 87457. By re-activating your subscription, you are reaffirming your agreement to the SMS Texting terms and conditions, subject to change from time to time as posted on our website.
The Company may use an automatic dialing system to deliver text messages to you. The Federal Communications Commission defines an “automatic telephone dialing system” or autodialer as equipment that has the capacity to store or produce telephone numbers to be called and to call such numbers (47 C.F.R. § 64.1200). By your subscription to the text message program, you give your consent to the Company to use an automatic dialing system to deliver text messages to the telephone or cell phone number to which you have directed the Company to transmit these text messages.

Additional carriers may be added.
Local Puerto Rico carriers Claro and PR Wireless are not reachable using short codes. Puerto Rico users on AT&T, T-Mobile or Sprint may receive short code SMS from a US short code, however delivery is not guaranteed. Short code SMS to Verizon is not supported in Puerto Rico.
